Welcome to The Black Cabin! A nod to my family cabin that was built by my Great Grandpa. He was such a handyman and was DIY before DIY had a name! The Black Cabin will be a place to get inspired, share ideas, experiences and be your DIY destination!! 

I'm Teresa and I run the store and usually have Birdie my new sidekick and puppy with me at the shop! We always have Winnie's spirit at the shop, the original Black Cabin shop dog! I am a proud certified Fusion Mineral Paint merchant with 10 years of experience!! I also carry General Finishes, made locally in Wisconsin! I love helping people out with their projects that they are working on or about to tackle! I am passionate about DIY workshops and sharing my passion for upcycling old and ugly into updated and beautiful! Creating a new project with people that are crafty or those that think they aren't creative and leave with a new found hobby or interest! 

We have collection of locally made goods from local artisans and makers! Plus a curated collection of gifts and goods. And workshops lead by local artists passionate about their work and want to share that passion with others!
